Michal Jordan was selected in the 4th round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes. In the 2010-11 season he made his professional debut by playing for the Hurricanes AHL affiliate the Charlotte Checkers. In the 2012-13 season Jordan was selected for the AHL All-Star Classic. He made his NHL debut with the Hurricanes on February 14, 2013 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played a total of 5 games with the Hurricanes that season. In the 2014-15 season he was selected as Captain of the Charlotte Checkers. He marked his first NHL point on February 14, 2015 adding an assist to Jeff Skinner?s goal against the Minnesota Wild.
