It was more than just a delightful celebration of the growth of hockey in Northern California. It was two Pacific Division rivals battling for two critical points on Saturday, February 21, 2015. In front of the third-largest outdoor crowd in NHL history, 70,205 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, the Los Angeles Kings defeated the San Jose Sharks, 2-1, in the 2015 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series.

The Sharks' jerseys feature horizontal striping consisting of teal, white and black. There is a Northern California patch on the left shoulder that features a star placed for San Jose and a dorsal shark fin in the southern part of the state. This Is Sharks Territory is screened on the inside of the collar. The Kings' jerseys feature horizontal striping consisting of gray, black and white. There are two king crowns on the collar representing the franchise's two Stanley Cup championships as well as an LA patch on the left shoulder.
Affixed to the right shoulder of each jersey is the 2015 NHL Stadium Series patch. Each jersey features 7-inch sleeve numbers and 13 inch-numbers on the back.
