This commemorative seat is one of only a very limited number in existence that were commissioned by the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and will only be available for purchase at online charity auction. Gretzky and Oilers fans will love this great relic from Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Coliseum history! This original seat witnessed all of the on ice action from the Coliseum's opening day in 1974 until its subsequent removal twenty years later during the Coliseum renovations in 1994. The padded fold-down chair with wooden back is in all original used condition and has not been refurbished since taken out of use. Although it has been cleaned up it does show some game use so to speak from years of use in the Edmonton Coliseum. Recently it has been professionally mounted onto a matching wooden base and is ready for years of enjoyment in your hockey room. In a classy touch the seatback has also recently had custom decaling applied to it including the Oilers logo, the team's Stanley Cup winning seasons along with Gretzky's name and number. And in case you were wondering this amazing chair has been numbered Row 9, Seat 9 for a unique touch!
