Show your support for the foundation and the great charitable initiatives they undertake in Oil Country by bidding on this once in a lifetime opportunity! The upcoming 2nd annual Syncrude Oil Country Championship presented by AECON, an official stop on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada, will be held at the prestigious Windermere Golf and Country Club in Edmonton, AB from July 31 - August 6, 2017.The winner of this auction item will serve as a VIP caddie in the Oil Country Championship's Celebrity Pro-Am on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 for legendary Oilers Coach, GM and Hockey Hall of Famer Glen Sather. If you didn't think it could get any better, not only do you get to spend the day with this legend, you will receive a beautiful Adidas gift package (valued at $350) and rub elbows with the rest of the star-studded celebrity roster during the Celebrity Pro-Am VIP Reception & Dinner. You will also receive VIP passes for the entire Syncrude Oil Country Championship presented by AECON (August 3 - 6, 2017) to enjoy the tournament week in style. VIP parking awaits, along with access into the Champions Club inside the clubhouse, including all food and beverage. Caddie positions are open to individuals 16 years of age and older and you must be able to walk for 18 holes. Pull carts are permitted during the Celebrity Pro-Am. Caddies will be required to follow a dress code and wear tailored shorts or pants (no jeans or cutoffs), running shoes (golf shoes with rubber or metal spikes are not permitted). The winner of this auction item will receive an Oil Country Championship branded golf shirt and branded caddie hat to wear. In addition all Celebrity Pro-Am caddies will be provided a brief training session and overview which will include their role, responsibilities and golf course etiquette. They are not expected to provide advice on club selection or reading of greens unless Glen asks for some! Please note while autographs are permitted, items will be limited. The winner of this auction item will be contacted via email with final details for this package by July 18, 2017.
