This Military Appreciation Night AUTHENTIC Chris Terry #25 Carolina Hurricanes jersey was worn in pre-game warm-ups prior to the game against the St. Louis Blues on February 28, 2016. The jersey is autographed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is camouflage, size 56. Terry was drafted by the Plymouth Whalers in the second round, 29th overall in the 2005 OHL Draft from the Markham Islanders. After two seasons and a J. Ross Robertson Cup with the Whalers, Terry was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. In 2008, the Carolina Hurricanes assigned Terry on an amateur try-out contract to their AHL affiliate at the time, the Albany River Rats. He made his professional debut in one game and then returned to the Whalers for another season. During the 2008-2009 season, he was named the Whalers full time captain. In 253 career games with the Whalers, Terry finished with 289 points, third highest in team history. Terry made his NHL debut with the Hurricanes on March 9th versus the New Jersey Devils where he recorded his first NHL goal and point. All proceeds benefit the Kids ?N Community Foundation.
