Description
Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 2015 Shirts Off Our Backs Online Charity Auction in support of the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton and charities across Oil Country ! Show your support by bidding on this Connor McDavid #97 - Edmonton Oilers game worn helmet. This white CCM Vector 8 Pro model helmet with Oakley visor was worn by McDavid during the team's 2015-16 Rookie Camp, Training Camp, pre-season and regular season up until his injury versus Philadelphia. In addition please note he wor it for first NHL regular season game on October 8th, 2015 vs St. Louis and when he scored his first NHL goal on October 13th, 2015 vs Dallas. The helmet displays nice light game use throughout and has been decaled with McDavid's #97 and the NHL Hockey Fights Cancer decal which replaced the NHL shield decal previously located in it's spot as the HFC decal was worn by the team for cancer fund-raising awareness by NHL teams during the month of October. Last but not least the helmet has been nicely autographed by Connor in blue marker across the top. It will come complete with a letter of authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and accompanying Edmonton Oilers Authentic Inventory Hologram #11409. In an Open Auction, buyers bid until the auction ends. The item is then sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction period. There is no reserve price in an Open auction. The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. Once the auction closes, email notification providing contact information is sent to the buyer and seller automatically so that arrangements for payment and shipment of the item can be determined.
What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
