Description
This very large original painting was created by Robert Stephen Simon in 1990 and features legendary ballplayer - Mickey Mantle. Mantle is regarded as one of the greatest switch hitters of all-time. His accomplishments include 20 All-Star Games, 4x Home Run Champion, 7x World Series Champion, 3x AL MVP and in 1956 he won the Triple Crown. His #7 is hung proudly at Yankee Stadium after playing his entire career for them. The painting has been signed beautifully by Mantle in the center as well as signed and dated by Simon in the bottom-left corner. It has been encased in a huge antique frame which finishes to 44X56" in size. This is truly a historic piece.
