Description

On November 2, 2013, the Colorado Avalanche honored an important piece of their championship legacy when they raised Adam Foote's No. 52 to the Pepsi Center rafters.

On Adam Foote Night, the great defenseman's No. 52 joined Peter Forsberg's No. 21, Ray Bourque's No. 77, Patrick Roy's No. 33 and Joe Sakic's No. 19 as the only retired numbers in Avalanche history.

Now you can own a game-worn jersey worn by your favorite Av on this very special night.

Twenty game-worn jerseys and one game-issued jersey from players in the lineup and on the roster during the Avs' 4-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens ARE NOW UP FOR BID.

The Colorado Avalanche-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual burgundy jersey worn during Adam Foote Night by #9, Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche.

This burgundy jersey is a Size 56 and is registered into the Avalanche-MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number K01464. Each jersey has the official Adam Foote "52" patch sewn onto the right front of the jersey.

The auction ends on Thursday, November 21, with each jersey ending two minutes apart beginning at 9 pm MT. The five-minute rule applies to each jersey. If a bid placed in the final five minutes, that jersey's auction extends until no bid is placed for five minutes.

The Avalanche wore one special set of jerseys, all with Foote's name and No. 52 on the back (in addition to the name of the player wearing it) during the warm up. That set is currently up for bid on behalf of Kroenke Sports Charities.

This is the one special set of jerseys worn during the entire game, each with the unique Foote Night Patch over the right breast. Each player wore only one jersey in the game.

Every jersey worn by each of the nine participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE.

This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.

What is a Maximum Bid?

Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
