Description
Introducing the Captains' Club Game-Worn Jersey Auction.
The ECHL, in association with the Professional Hockey Players Association and The MeiGray Group, will donate the proceeds of this auction to the ECHL Health and Welfare Trust Fund.
Here is your chance to bid on a white jersey worn by captain, #17 Kyle Rogers of the Toledo Walleye, during the 2012-2013 ECHL regular season.
This jersey, a Size 56, is affixed with the captain's 'C', and is registered into The MeiGrade System as No. 148304.
Throughout the 2012-2013 ECHL regular season, team captains were asked to wear one jersey specifically for this ECHL Charity Auction. Each jersey has been authenticated by the ECHL-MGG Game-Worn Jersey Program.
"The Captains' Club jersey auction is a great way for fans and collectors alike to obtain a one-of-a-kind piece of game-worn memorabilia, while assisting ECHL Players and their families through such a platform," said PHPA Executive Director, Larry Landon.
Without question, Captains are considered team leaders, and as such, are greatly respected by their teammates. This strong captain-player bond allows Captains to encourage their teammates to seek assistance for matters that require extra attention both on and off the ice.
The Captains' Club Jersey Auction was initiated in 2004 and helps fund the ECHL Health and Welfare Trust Fund, which provides PHPA Members and their families with access to counseling services when dealing with personal, and behavioral health concerns or to assist with specific hardship circumstances.

In an Open Auction, buyers bid until the auction ends. The item is then sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction period. There is no reserve price in an Open auction. The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. Once the auction closes, email notification providing contact information is sent to the buyer and seller automatically so that arrangements for payment and shipment of the item can be determined.
What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
