Description
Offered here is a unique pair of official bilingual display
placards from the Hockey Hall of Fame's Calder Memorial Trophy exhibit,
commemorating the outstanding rookie season of Lane Hutson of the
Montreal Canadiens during the 2024-25 campaign.
Originally displayed alongside the Calder Memorial Trophy,
these placards celebrate one of the most impressive rookie performances in
recent NHL history. After making a brief two-game NHL appearance at the
conclusion of the 2023-24 season, Hutson arrived for his first full campaign
and immediately established himself as one of the league's most dynamic young
talents. His exceptional vision, creativity, and puck-moving ability produced 60
assists and 66 points, numbers that quickly made him the frontrunner for
rookie honours throughout much of the season.
Hutson's electrifying offensive contributions from the blue
line played a pivotal role in the Canadiens' resurgence, helping guide Montreal
to its first Stanley Cup Playoff appearance in four seasons. His ability to
generate scoring opportunities, orchestrate breakouts, and drive play from the
defensive position made him one of the league's most exciting emerging stars
and a cornerstone of the franchise's future.
By capturing the Calder Memorial Trophy, Hutson
became the first member of the Montreal Canadiens organization to earn the
award since legendary goaltender Ken Dryden in 1972, ending a remarkable
53-year drought for one of hockey's most storied franchises. He was also
recognized for his exceptional debut season with selection to the NHL
All-Rookie Team.
As authentic Hockey Hall of Fame display materials
associated with a landmark rookie campaign and a historic achievement for the
Montreal Canadiens, these placards offer collectors a rare opportunity to
acquire a distinctive piece of contemporary hockey history connected to one of
the NHL's brightest young stars.
These placards (2 in total) each measure at 20.5" x
3" and includes a Certificate of Authenticity from the Hockey Hall of
Fame.

Shipping

Shipping carriers used are Canada Post, FedEx,
and DHL. You will receive an email from the Hockey Hall of Fame with tracking
information when your package is shipped.

Winning bidders are responsible for all tariffs,
taxes, duties, and any other additional costs associated with shipping.

Packing
and shipping will take place the week of September 28th.

For international shipments outside of Canada or
USA, winning bidder will be notified once the auction closes with shipping
rates associated with your location. International shipping rates are

Cancellation and returns are not permitted once
the auction has closed.

In an Open Auction, buyers bid until the auction ends. The item is then sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction period. There is no reserve price in an Open auction. The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. Once the auction closes, email notification providing contact information is sent to the buyer and seller automatically so that arrangements for payment and shipment of the item can be determined.
What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached.
