Description
Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 2024 Online Charity Auction! Show your support for the Foundation and the great charitable initiatives they undertake in Oil Country by bidding on this Evan Bouchard #2 - Autographed 2024-25 Edmonton Oilers Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Ltd Edition Fanatics Practice Jersey (Autographed Only / Not Worn). The Edmonton Oilers held their inaugural Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) game on Monday, November 4 when the team hosted the New Jersey Devils at Rogers Place. With the Oilers Dia de los Muertos logos and design elements on full display throughout the arena, this cultural celebration included vibrant pageantry paying tribute to this unique holiday, including a local mariachi band and other special in-game elements. Although NHL teams are no longer permitted to wear cause or celebration based jerseys during the pre-game warm up a complete set of these special jerseys were made to commemorate the occasion. They were then autographed by the players with the purposes of auctioning off all in support of charity! These Fanatics made pro quality white with royal blue trim practice jerseys with fight strap were customized with the very special Edmonton Oilers Dia de los Muertos logo and design elements. The logos were designed by Cristoval Castillon, Design Lead, OEG Sports & Entertainment. "I've always wanted to bring a little bit of Mexican representation to the Oilers and with our Dia de los Muertos game, I found an opportunity to highlight aspects of the traditional holiday such as the calaca - the skeletal figure featured on the main crest of the Oilers Dia de los Muertos jersey - most popular in modern Day of the Dead costumes and decorations," Castillon said. "The main crest is flanked on the left shoulder of the jersey by our friend Hunter the Lynx, who adorns a quetzal feathered headdress once worn by those in high power, along with their deities, within ancient Aztec civilization. The 'Petroleros' logo sits upon the right shoulder adorned with bright sunflowers and marigolds which are highly symbolic of Mexico. On the back of the jersey the respective player's surname is displayed in blue letters on a matching white name bar. Their respective jersey number is also displayed on the back and sleeves in the colorful matching number pattern. This particular jersey is a size 58 and is indicated as such in the collar. Last but not least the jersey has been nicely autographed in black paint marker on the back number by Evan Bouchard! Please note this is an actual NHL practice-weight on-ice authentic jersey (NOT PLAYER WORN) with all lettering, numbering and crests professionally stitched onto the jersey. The jersey will come complete with a Letter of Authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and official Edmonton Oilers 2024-2025 Season "DIA DE LOS MUERTOS NIGHT, Autographed Jersey Set" Tag including their # and surname sewn into the inside bottom hem of the jersey.

In an Open Auction, buyers bid until the auction ends. The item is then sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction period. There is no reserve price in an Open auction. The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. Once the auction closes, email notification providing contact information is sent to the buyer and seller automatically so that arrangements for payment and shipment of the item can be determined.
What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
