Description

These one-of-a-kind gold placards, written in both English and French, were placed in the cases of each major NHL Trophy in the Esso Great Hall. They indicate who won the respective trophy at the NHL Awards Ceremony, and are on display over the course of the ensuing season.

This pair of dual-bundle bilingual placards could be found in the Frank J. Selke Trophy case, won by Ryan O'Reilly of the St. Louis Blues during the 2018-19 season. O'Reilly was acquired by the Blues in a trade with his former team, the Buffalo Sabres, and immediately had a massive impact by registering 28 goals and 49 assists in 81 regular season games. His backchecking and two-way ability earned him the Selke Trophy as best defensive forward. O'Reilly continued his fine form in the postseason, scoring 8 goals and assisting on 15 tallies, as the Blues won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. O'Reilly was also the recipient of the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.

These placards (2 in total) each measure at 20.5" x 3" and includes a Certificate of Authenticity from the Hockey Hall of Fame.

What is a Maximum Bid?

Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
