Description
These one-of-a-kind gold placards, written in both English
and French, were placed in the cases of each major NHL Trophy in the Esso Great
Hall. They indicate who won the respective trophy at the NHL Awards Ceremony,
and are on display over the course of the ensuing season.
This dual-bundle of bilingual placards could be found in the Frank
J. Selke Trophy case, won by Patrice Bergeron during the 2021-22 season. This
marked the fifth of six times that Bergeron earned the title as "best defensive
forward" in the league, winning the award for the first time since 2017. The
Bruins captain had a fantastic campaign, scoring 25 goals and adding 40 assists,
while also finishing a +26. With this award, Bergeron passed Hall of Famer Bob
Gainey for most Selke trophies won by a player throughout their career.
These placards (2 in total) each measure at 20.5" x
3" and includes a Certificate of Authenticity from the Hockey Hall of Fame.

In an Open Auction, buyers bid until the auction ends. The item is then sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction period. There is no reserve price in an Open auction. The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. Once the auction closes, email notification providing contact information is sent to the buyer and seller automatically so that arrangements for payment and shipment of the item can be determined.
What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
