Welcome to our 2022-23 Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey Program Auction! You are bidding on this Connor McDavid #97 - 2022-23 Edmonton Oilers Game-Worn Royal Blue Set #2 Jersey - 50th NHL Goal Of Season, 500th NHL Assist & 800th NHL Point Milestone Jersey! The team wore this particular set of Royal Blue Set #2 jerseys from December 9th 2022 to February 27th, 2023 for a total of 8 home games. Over this time frame McDavid wore this jersey for all of those 8 games including the night he scored his 50th NHL goal of the season (first time of his career) on February 27th, 2023 vs the Boston Bruins. This Adidas-made Oilers jersey features a special uniform set tag sewn into the inside bottom hem that reads "Edmonton Oilers, 2022/2023 Season, Set #2" along with the facsimile signature of Jeff Lang the team's Head Equipment Manager. In addition, there is an official Edmonton Oilers Game-Worn Jersey Inventory tag #A00309 sewn into the inside bottom left hem. Tagging inside the collar includes a Made in Canada Size 56 imprint (screened on) and a label from the official team jersey cresting company Elite Sportswear. As mentioned this particular jersey was worn by Oilers team captain Connor McDavid and is crested with his #97, surname on the back and team captain's "C" on the left chest. The jersey shows nice visible wear throughout including stick marks, some small board burns on both sleeves and other scattered game related marks. This is the only jersey he wore over the course of the set and during all 8 games including his 50th NHL Goal of the 2022-23 season which it has been photo-matched to him scoring the goal that night. In addition to this first 50th goal season milestone McDavid also picked up his 500th NHL Assist on January 5th, 2023 vs the New York Islanders and his 800th NHL Point an assist on February 21st, 2023 vs the Philadelphia Flyers wearing this jersey. McDavid scored a total of 15 points (8 goals and 7 assists) in the jersey over the 8 games it was worn. Please note it was washed after every game so some marks have been washed out and / or lightened over time. It will come exactly as worn and will not be autographed. In addition to the set tag certification mentioned above the jersey comes complete with a Letter of Authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club listing exactly when it was worn, the milestones listed above and the points he scored.
