Please note net proceeds from the sale of this particular item will be directed to the MacEwan Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity which supports research, teaching and service work related to sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression on campus and in the community. Show your support for the NHL's annual "Hockey Is For Everyone" campaign by bidding on this Jack Campbell #36 - Autographed 2022-23 Edmonton Oilers Pre-Game Warm Up Used Goal Stick With Pride Tape. Pride Tape is rainbow colored, professional-grade hockey tape that is a physical representation of support from the teammates, coaches, parents and pros to young LGBTQ players. It shows every player that they belong in the game. The Edmonton Oilers were the first team in the NHL to use Pride Tape during their sold-out 2015-16 Skills Competition and members of the current Oilers roster once again participated in the initiative recently on March 25, 2023 during a home game in Edmonton. On this night prior to playing the Vegas Golden Knights members of the Edmonton Oilers used sticks with Pride Tape during the pre-game warmup. This Warrior RV2 Pro model composite goal stick was used by Jack Campbell during the pre-game warm-up and is in good used condition with lots of wear on it from previous use prior to this game. It has "CAMPBELL" factory stamped on the shaft and is taped with the rainbow colored Pride Tape on the blade and displays light visible use on the all intact blade tape. Please note it is quite common for players to use two different sticks during the warm up on theme nights such as this including the specially taped one like this at the very beginning before switching out to their regular taped stick for the remainder of the pre-game warm-up. The stick has been nicely autographed by Campbell on the paddle in black marker. This super rare collectable will come complete with a Letter of Authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and Edmonton Oilers Authentic Inventory Hologram.
