Description

Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 2014 Shirts Off Our Backs Online Charity Auction in support of the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton and charities across Oil Country ! Show your support by bidding on this Taylor Hall #4 - Autographed 1st NHL Career Penalty Shot Goal Puck Scored On October 20th, 2014 vs the Tampa Bay Lightning - Includes Autographed 8 1/2 x 11" Oversize Oilers Player Card. On this night Edmonton Oilers fans at the game and millions more watching at home were treated to a great 3-2 win against the Lightning thanks in part to Taylor Hall's penalty shot goal ! With 5:03 remaining in the middle frame, Hall got taken down on a breakaway by Matthew Carle and was awarded a penalty shot. Hall motioned for the crowd to make some noise prior to the penalty shot. "I don't really know what happened there", Hall said. "I haven't been too good on breakaways or penalty shots or shootouts in my career. I've been alright, but I just wanted to do something to take my mind off the shot. I would have looked pretty silly if it didn't go in, but luckily it did." Hall slow played his way in on Tampa Bay goalie Ben Bishop before tucking the puck five-hole under the goalie. The goal was Hall's fourth of the season and 96th of his career which sent the Rexall Place crowd into a frenzy. It was also his first NHL career penalty shot goal ! Following the goal this official Edmonton Oilers NHL Game Puck was plucked from the net by the on ice game officials and given directly to the time keepers bench officials who promptly labelled it with the details of the goal on a custom made puck label which was then applied to the back of the puck. It was then given to Edmonton Oilers equipment staff immediately following the game for donation to our online charity auctions. Subsequently it was signed by Taylor Hall during an Edmonton Oilers team autograph signing in mid October 2014. This great goal puck will come complete with a letter of authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and Edmonton Oilers Authentic Inventory Hologram applied to the back of the puck. As a bonus the winner will also receive an autographed Taylor Hall 8 1/2 x 11" player card as shown.

What is a Maximum Bid?

Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
