Description
In partnership with Benjamin Moore, artist Danielle Mastrion painted a mural during Henrik's Retirement Night Viewing Party on January 28, 2022. The mural was signed by Danielle Mastrion and Henrik Lundqvist. The mural will live in the Garden for New York Rangers home games through March 31st. The size of the mural is 8 feet by 6 feet.
Mastrion is a Brooklyn-born, New York City based painter and muralist. She received her BFA from Parsons School of Design and is a classically trained oil painter. Her canvas work showcases the disappearing aspects of the city, focusing on cityscapes and street relics, as well as heavy portraiture. Danielle has been painting murals both locally & internationally since 2012. Her work has taken her to Europe, the Middle East, Central America, South America, & the Caribbean. Her latest walls can be found throughout her home neighborhood, Coney Island Brooklyn, completing over 15 murals within the New York Aquarium, the Cyclone Rollercoaster, and several other local walls in the area. All net proceeds from this auction benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation and the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation, a partner of the Garden of Dreams Foundation. The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation, through its fundraising efforts and community outreach, strives to create positive change in the lives of children and adults throughout the world through education and health services."
