Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 2016 Hockey Fights Cancer Charity Auction in support of the Kids With Cancer Society and charities across Oil Country! Show your support in the fight against cancer by bidding on this authentic Mark Messier - Autographed Edmonton Oilers Rexall Place Concourse Promotional Banner. Created by the Edmonton Oilers marketing department during the 2015-16 season this banner is one of only a handful in existence made exclusively for display around the concourse levels of Rexall Place. This particular banner features a celebratory image of Mark Messier from the 1990 Stanley Cup Banner raising at Rexall Place and is made of heavy double sided vinyl with identical images on both sides. The banner measures 17.5" x 36" in size and is in excellent used condition. It was signed by Messier in permanent black marker recently making it ready for display in your Oilers shrine! Memorabilia collectors have always eyed up these attractive banners when visiting Rexall Place...now here is your chance to add one to your collection all in the name of charity! In an Open Auction, buyers bid until the auction ends. The item is then sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction period. There is no reserve price in an Open auction. The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
