Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation's Farewell Season Online Clearout Charity Auction ! Show your support for the foundation and the great charitable initiatives they undertake in Oil Country by bidding on this great auction item from Edmonton Oilers and Rexall Place history ! In this lot the winning bidder will receive Edmonton Oilers 25th Anniversary custom made metal logo that hung on the Rexall Place concourse for years. This unique item has now been made available to collectors as a result of the team's move to Rogers Place this upcoming hockey season and is ready and waiting for installation in your hockey room, rec room or office but be warned it probably weighs 600 pounds or more ! Commissioned by the team to commemorate their 25th anniversary in the NHL this huge logo made of steel was fabricated from a custom mould and is one of two created by the organization. It measures a huge 60" wide by 66" tall and is has some wear including scuff and scratch marks here and there as pictured due to moving and storage since being taken down a few years ago from the concourse. It was located below the escalator to the second floor concourse near section 119 behind the Oilers bench. This crazy unique piece of Edmonton Oilers history will come complete with a team issued letter of authenticity and is just waiting for a new place to call home! PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THIS ITEM IT IS AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY AT REXALL PLACE FOLLOWING THE COMPLETION OF THE AUCTION...HOWEVER WE WILL MAKE THE ITEM AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP, PACKAGING AND SHIPPING BY A COMMERCIAL SHIPPING CARRIER AND SERVICE OF THE WINNING BIDDERS CHOICE, COORDINATION AND COST.
