Description
Welcome to the Flyers Wives Carnival Weekend Alumni Jersey Auction!
The Broad Street Bash was held on January 25, 2014 at Xfinity Live. The Flyers and their loyal fans welcomed 21 members of the 1974 and 1975 Stanley Cup Champions, who wore these jerseys when they were individually introduced to the crowd.
The Flyers-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual jersey worn by #27 Reggie Leach of the Philadelphia Flyers during the Broad Street Bash on January 25, 2014, at Xfinity Live.
This jersey was autographed by Reggie Leach, and 20 other Alumni: Bill Barber, Tom Bladon, Bobby Clarke, Bill Clement, Bruce Cowick, Terry Crisp, Gary Dornhoefer, Moose Dupont, Larry Goodenough, Ted Harris, Orest Kindrachuk, Bob Kelly, Rick MacLeish, Simon Nolet, Bernie Parent (autographed twice), Don Saleski, Dave Schultz, Ed Van Impe, Jim Watson, and Joe Watson.
The players wore CCM jerseys that replicated the Vintage style they wore in the mid '70s, when they won back-to-back championships.
This jersey is a Size XL and is registered into the Flyers-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGG004314.
The Flyers Wives Carnival is one of the oldest and most successful one-day charity events hosted by a professional sports franchise, raising more than $25 million for Philadelphia-area charities.
The Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival is a genuine family affair that involves the participation of the Flyers' players, management, staff, alumni and their families. The first Carnival was held February 1, 1977. Later that year, one of the Flyers' own, Barry Ashbee, died of leukemia. With his death came a truly heartfelt focus to the Flyers Wives Carnival. The monies raised through the Flyers Wives Carnival fund a number of charities, including the original charity of decades ago, the Barry Ashbee Research Laboratories at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Proceeds from this auction will benefit Flyers Charities.
You will be entitled to a tax deduction for the amount by which your payment exceeds the value of the property ($250) you purchased at the auction. A tax deduction receipt will accompany your auction win.

The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
