Description
Welcome to the Flyers Wives Carnival Charity Auction!
The Flyers-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual jersey worn and autographed by #21 Scott Laughton of the Philadelphia Flyers during the 39th Flyers Wives Carnival on March 13, 2016, at Wells Fargo Center.
This orange jersey is a Size 54 and is registered into the Flyers-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number M05800.
A "2016 Flyers Wives Carnival" patch is affixed to the right breast of the jersey.
The Flyers Wives Carnival is one of the oldest and most successful one-day charity events hosted by a professional sports franchise, raising more than $26 million for Philadelphia-area charities.
The Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival is a genuine family affair that involves the participation of the Flyers' players, management, staff, alumni and their families. The first Carnival was held February 1, 1977. Later that year, one of the Flyers' own, Barry Ashbee, died of leukemia. With his death came a truly heartfelt focus to the Flyers Wives Carnival. The monies raised through the Flyers Wives Carnival fund a number of charities, including the original charity of decades ago, the Barry Ashbee Research Laboratories at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Proceeds from this auction will benefit Flyers Charities.
Each item was authenticated by a Flyers-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program Director immediately after it was used. Each jersey has been security-tagged, serial-numbered, and registered into the NHL-MGG Population Report.

What is a Maximum Bid?
Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
