Description

Welcome to USA Hockey-MeiGray Group's NTDP Military-Themed Jersey Auction.

USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, based in Plymouth, Michigan, is a full-time development program to prepare student-athletes under the age of 17 for participation on U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers.

The U.S. National Under-17 Team plays a full schedule that includes games against United States Hockey League opponents and three international tournaments.

On March 4 and March 5, 2016, the Under-17 Team took to the ice wearing military-themed jerseys, facing the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. Team USA lost to the RoughRiders, 4-2, on March 4, and 3-0, on March 5.

One set of military-themed jerseys and socks were produced and worn in the two games. There are 21 game-worn jerseys, four game-issued jerseys, 21 pairs of game-worn socks, four pairs of game-issued socks, and five pairs of unissued socks that are up for auction.

The jerseys are manufactured by SP Apparel. The set of jerseys was collected after the game by Team USA's equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.

This auction is for the actual Military-themed jersey prepared for use by #57, Scott Reedy.

This jersey, a Size 56, has been registered in the USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program as number USA03478.

Proceeds will benefit the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System in Ann Arbor, MI.

The USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program offers game-used and autographed items from the Men's and Women's U.S. Olympic Teams, Men's and Women's U.S. World Championship Teams, U.S. teams that have competed in the World Junior Championships, and much, much more.

The MeiGray Group is the world's leading authenticator of, and source for, game-worn hockey jerseys. The Branchburg, N.J., company is authenticating partners with the National Hockey League, 9 of the 30 NHL teams, and the ECHL. MeiGray has authenticated and sold nearly 100,000 game-worn jerseys since it was founded in 1997. MeiGray has also partnered with the National Basketball Association since 2006.

What is a Maximum Bid?

Your maximum bid amount is the highest price you are willing to pay for an item (subject to shipping and handling fees, plus applicable taxes). When you place your maximum bid amount, your bid will be processed in the designated bid increment amount above the current bid. If you are outbid, the system will automatically place bids for you at the bid increment until your maximum bid is reached. By way of an example, if an auction opens at $10 with a $1 bid increment and you place a maximum bid of $100, your bid will initially be processed at $11. If another bidder places a bid at $12, the system will automatically bid $13 for you and will continue up to your maximum bid amount of $100.
