And it was two Central Division rivals battling for two critical points on Sunday, February 21, 2016. In front of a crowd of 50,426 at TCF Bank Stadium on the campus of the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Wild defeated the Chicago Blackhawks, 6-1, in the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series.
Each team practiced on the TCF Bank Stadium rink the day before the game to experience the unique environment.
