The design was created by three students that participate(d) in the Project 11 program; Brienne & Grade 4 student Max Santos - Ecole Belmont, Yanna Vlahos, Grade 10 student - Dakota Collegiate, and Herlinda Dalayoan, Grade 10 student Maples Collegiate. "Students submitted mental health awareness designs that were meaningful to them. The skills that they learned being a part of Project 11 really helped empower them to reach out, practice resiliency and become more self-aware. These students are thriving doing things that they love and feeling equipped with essential life skills that they know their parents didn't get to practice when they were their age. Now, two of the students who are now in high school are hoping that with the help from the auction, Project 11 can be incorporated into their high schools as well."
