In this lot the winning bidder will receive the actual section of carpet that was custom made in the shape of the Edmonton Oil Kings logo and located in the centre of the present day Oil Kings dressing room in Rexall Place. This unique item has now been made available to collectors as a result of the team's move to Rogers Place this upcoming hockey season and is ready and waiting for installation in your hockey room, rec room or office. This used but not abused section of carpet is in very nice condition and has been in place since the team moved into the old NHL Visiting Dressing Room. It measures 37" in height and 58" wide. Please note the carpet will be carefully removed but not be available for local pick up until approximately August 15th, 2016 onward as the Oil Kings locker room will remain intact until the club's move to the new arena. This unique piece of Edmonton Oil Kings Locker Room history comes complete with a team issued letter of authenticity and is just waiting for a new floor to call home !
