Please note net proceeds from the sale of this particular item will be directed to the Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society which is dedicated to guiding, supporting and healing Indigenous children, youth and families across Treaty 6 territory. Show your support by bidding on this James Hamblin #57 - Autographed 2022-23 Edmonton Oilers Pre-Game Warm-Up Worn Orange Jersey In Honour Of National Day For Truth & Reconciliation. On September 30, 2022 the Edmonton Oilers hosted the Calgary Flames and on this evening to honour the survivors of residential schools and mourn the Indigenous children who never returned home the team wore special orange practice jerseys during the pre-game warm up for the purposes of auctioning off all in support of charity. This Adidas made pro quality practice jersey with fight strap features a screened on Oilers logo on the front. On the back of the jersey the respective player's surname is displayed in two tone letters on a matching orange name bar and their respective jersey number. Inside the collar the jersey is marked Made in Canada and a size 56 tag is sewn into the jersey. The jersey features a special uniform set tag sewn into the inside bottom hem that reads "Edmonton Oilers, "Truth & Reconciliation Day, Warm Up Set, Sept 30, 2022 vs Calgary" along with the facsimile signature of Jeff Lang the team's Head Equipment Manager. In addition, there is an Edmonton Oilers Game-Worn Jersey Inventory tag sewn into the inside bottom hem. This particular jersey was worn by Oilers forward James Hamblin and is crested with his #57 and surname on the back. As is to be expected there is very little to no visible wear on the jersey considering it was worn for only the pre-game warm up of the one game. Finally as an added bonus the jersey has been nicely autographed by James Hamblin in silver paint marker on the back number making it ready for display in your Oilers memorabilia collection! The jersey will come complete with a Letter of Authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club.
