Welcome to the MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program's Goal Puck Auction!
The NHL Goal Pucks Program, the first authenticated game-used program known in professional sports, ran during the 1972-73 and 1973-74 NHL seasons.
Pucks were removed from the nets and lifted from the games by the on-ice officials after goals were scored. The goal scorers were identified, stickers with the relevant information was applied to one side of each puck, and the pucks were offered publicly to hockey fans and collectors via advertisements in printed publications.
