Description
The 1974 Summit Series was an eight-game series that followed up on the success of 1972 Summit Series. However, instead of NHL stars, this version of Team Canada was made up of players from the World Hockey Association. Gordie Howe as well as his sons Mark and Marty all represented Team Canada. At the young age of 46, Gordie was still one of the most productive players scoring 7 points in 7 games (3 goals, 4 assists). These socks were worn by Gordie for part of the tournament to match the white on red jerseys. They were recently on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame from 2019-2022.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity from Gordie Howe's sons Mark and Marty Howe. Proceeds support The Howe Foundation.
