Between November 16 and December 16, 2018, Rob Simpson , a sportscaster and author working in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and presently the co-host of "Stellick and Simmer" in the morning with Gord Stellick on Sirius-XM NHL Network radio, attended 31 NHL games in all 31 cities over 31 straight days. As part of this unprecedented little journey, he met with the officials after the 1st period every night. Each night, they gave him two game pucks, one signed by a referee for "validation" of his attendance. Each night, on local TV and radio, and also before and after the adventure on national TV and radio, he would mention that when the trip was over, he would mount the signed pucks, and auction the collection for Hockey Fights Cancer. So here we are.

The pucks are mounted in the exact order of the games attended, top to bottom, left to right. The display is 3-feet 11 inches by 3-feet 5 inches, comes with hanging brackets attached, and weighs in the neighborhood of 45 pounds (rough estimate). It was prepared and assembled by the Frameworth company in Toronto, the same firm that handles many of the Hockey Hall of Fame displays.
