Bid now on this incredibly rare, one-of-a-kind 30" x 40" gallery wrapped original painting by upcoming sports artist, Charlie Turano III. This original was hand painted and commemorates the 2019 NHL All-Star Game held in San Jose, California. The black and white background emphasizes the shapes of the logo and allows the bright colors to pop. Each stroke was purposely made to show the dynamic range of color and create a rigid texture. The artwork is preserved with an archival gloss finish that protects against discoloration and fading. The artwork has been hand signed by Turano and all 44 NHL All-Star Game players.
Based in Miami, Charlie Turano III is a 24-year-old artist who found his passion while visiting his ancestral hometown of Riposto, Sicily at the age of ten. "I was inspired by the artists in the town square and their use of vibrant colors and detailed mark making. I strive to incorporate that into each of my paintings as an homage to my roots," says Charlie. Since then, some of his collectors have included Mike Piazza, the Detroit Lions, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Florida Panthers. In addition, his 2015 NHL Draft painting has been accepted into the Hockey Hall of Fame's permanent collection. Now, as a recent graduate from the University of Alabama, Charlie works at Fanatics Authentic as their resident artist and creates artwork for their teams, events, and athletes.
