Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 2018 Locker Room Online Auction! Show your support for the Foundation and the great charitable initiatives they undertake in Oil Country by bidding on this Ryan Strome #18 - Edmonton Oilers Game-Worn Helmet and Gloves. This white Bauer RE-AKT pro model helmet was worn by Strome during the first half of the 2017-18 season from early October up until early January. It displays light game use throughout and has been decaled with his #18 and the NHL logo on the back. The helmet has been autographed by Strome in black marker across the top. To complement the helmet, the winner will also receive a pair of Bauer Supreme 1S Pro model navy blue and orange nylon gloves that were worn by Strome during the 2017-18 season. As is custom practice for Strome this season the right glove is a 14" cuff with a 1" rise and the left one is only a 14" cuff thus they are technically a mis-matched pair however that is the way they are worn by Strome. Furthermore the right glove has "STROME" factory stitched on the cuff and the other has "OILERS" on it indicating one glove was used from Strome's custom set of gloves and another (the left hand) came from a pro stock model issued to the team. The gloves have been verified to be worn by Strome in this manner by a member of the Oilers equipment staff. They show moderate wear in the palms and come autographed in silver marker on both thumbs. The helmet and gloves will come complete with a Letter of Authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and accompanying Edmonton Oilers Authentic Inventory Holograms on the helmet and gloves. This set of game-worn collectibles from the Oilers forward will look fantastic in any Oilers memorabilia collection! Please note that the helmet is sold for collectible and display purposes only and is not intended to be used as protective head gear. As a bonus, the winner will also receive the autographed oversize player card as shown in the auction listing.
