The MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... a puck used to score a goal by Sergei Gonchar of the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 2008-09 National Hockey League Stanley Cup Playoffs.

This is the puck used by Sergei Gonchar to score the 17th Stanley Cup Playoff goal of his career. The goal was scored at 2:19 of the third period and was assisted by Evgeni Malkin and Brooks Orpik. The Penguins defeated the Flyers, 5-3, on April 25, 2009 at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. This was Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarterinals. The Penguins went on to win the Stanley Cup.

Each puck was authenticated and affixed with a hologram by MeiGray. Additionally, every jersey worn by the participating teams contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
