The Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Red Wings Foundation held our annual Military Appreciation Night game on Friday, Nov. 7. Each player wore an authentic camouflage jersey during warmups prior to the game. The online auction of all these items will run until Friday, Nov. 21. Funds raised through this Detroit Red Wings Foundation auction will support Help For Our Disabled Troops’ efforts to renovate the family room of Gary Thompson from St. Clair Shores, who is battling cancer as a result of his service overseas. This renovation will allow him to comfortably recover from treatment and enjoy quality time with his family.
