On this night the team wore a brand new set of Oilers royal blue home Set #1 jerseys for the first time. Specifically Nail Yakupov wore another jersey for the pre-game warm up, 1st and 2nd periods and then changed into this particular jersey for the 3rd period of the game only. This RBK made Oilers jersey features a uniform set tag sewn into the inside bottom hem that reads "Edmonton Oilers, Set #1" along with the facsimile signature of Jeff Lang the team's Equipment Manager. In addition there is an NHL / MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Inventory tag #JH05481 sewn into the inside bottom left hem. Tagging inside the collar includes a Made in Canada Size 56 tag and a label from the jersey cresting company Elite Sportswear. Since this particular jersey was worn by Oilers forward Nail Yakupov it is crested with his #64 and surname on the back. As is to be expected the game wear is very light at best considering the jersey was worn for only one period. Finally as an added bonus the jersey has been nicely autographed by Nail Yakupov on the back number making it ready for display in your Oilers memorabilia collection!
