Description

The Philadelphia Flyers honored two of their legendary stars prior to their November 20, 2014 game when the team inducted John LeClair and Eric Lindros, two members of the line known as the Legion of Doom, into their Hall of Fame.

During their 3-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild, the Flyers wore one unique set of new jerseys. Every Flyer on the ice wore a jersey with a "10-88" patch sewn onto the right front of the jersey for this night only.

A total of 25 jerseys, 20 that were game worn, 1 that was worn in the pre-game warm-up, 4 that were game-issued for players who did not dress for the game, 4 game-used pucks and 5 goal pucks (each with a special 10-88 logo for this night only), and 2 banners that hung in Wells Fargo Center on this night are now up for bid.

The Flyers-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual puck used to score a goal by Claude Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers in the Flyers' 3-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild on John LeClair and Eric Lindros Flyers Hall of Fame Induction Night on November 20, 2014.

This unique game-used puck was created for the November 20, 2014 game before which John LeClair and Eric Lindros were inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame. This puck displays the date, and the numbers "10" and "88" bordering the Flyers' logo. This is the puck used by Claude Giroux to score the 125th goal of his NHL career. The goal, Giroux's 6th of the season, was scored at 16:30 of the third period and was assisted by Brayden Schenn and Jakub Voracek. The Wild defeated the Flyers, 3-2, on November 20, 2014 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

This goal puck is registered into the Flyers-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number PHI004255.

Every jersey worn by each of the participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when. Each jersey will be accompanied with an autographed 8x10 photo signed by John LeClair and Eric Lindros.
