Fans can bid on this one-of-a-kind pink breast cancer awareness goalie mask used by Jimmy Howard during the entire game on the Red Wings' Hockey Fights Cancer Night (10/23/14). The goalie mask is NOT currently autographed, but we can have Jimmy Howard autograph it if the winner would like. Proceeds will benefit Karmanos Cancer Institute to help uninsured and underinsured women with the costs of diagnostic screening and nonmedical expenses associated with breast cancer treatment. A $5,000 donation would allow Karmanos Cancer Institute to help 15-20 breast cancer patients in financial need with the costs of transportation to treatment, prescriptions needed for treatment, rent, utility bills, prosthesis or wig, grocery card, or holiday presents for a woman's young children because she couldn't afford them due to not being able to work. A $10,000 donation would allow Karmanos Cancer Institute to help the 15-20 patients in financial need, but also provide free diagnostic screening to additional women.
