Description
This AUTOGRAPHED puck signed by Tomas Kaberle #51 comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Tomas Kaberle was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the eighth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. He saw limited playing time in the 1998-99 season, but saw an increase during the 1999-00 and 2001-02 seasons. In 2002, he was named to the Czech national team for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. He started the 2001-02 season as a restricted free agent without a contract so he went to play for the Czech Extraliga. Ultimately, he signed a contract with Toronto that kept him with the team until 2005-06. On February 2006, Kaberle re-signed a five-year extension. In February 2011, Kaberle was traded to the Boston Bruins. He ultimately won the Stanley Cup in 2011 with the Bruins. In July 2011, Kaberle signed a three-year contract with the Hurricanes. However, in the first year of his contract in 2011 he was traded to the Montreal Canadiens. All proceeds will benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation, the Carolina Hurricanes charitable arm.
