Show your support for the foundation and the great charitable initiatives they undertake in Oil Country by bidding on this Complete Set of Six (6) New Edmonton Oilers 2017 NHL Playoffs Pre-game Warmup Commemorative Pucks. This highly sought after commemorative set of pucks is a great reminder of the team's exciting 2016-17 season that saw them collect 47 regular season wins enroute to their first playoff spot since the 2005-06 season. For the first time ever, the team in conjunction with the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation commissioned and used a game specific commemorative pre-game warmup puck for each of the team's home playoff games held at Rogers Place. These official NHL warmup pucks feature the 2017 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, Oilers and visiting team logos on the front along with the respective round and game number. On the back, the NHL 100th Season logo and "Official Warm Up Puck" text appear in one colour silver print. There was a total of 100 pucks created for each home game which were evenly distributed between the two teams for use during warmup. Immediately following the warmup, the pucks were collected, packaged and then sold at the team store for $30 each with proceeds going to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. An instant hit with Oilers fans and collectors, the pucks were usually sold out in less than 5 minutes with collectors often waiting in line to get them as soon as the doors opened! Although this set is brand new and will not come with the original puck cases and certificate of authenticity issued with the used pucks, it will be the only chance to obtain one of three sets retained for sale in our final charity auction of the season. This item will come complete with a letter of authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club.
