Captained by none other than the Great One himself...Wayne Gretzky and the rest of the Edmonton Oilers legends took on the Winnipeg Jets alumni in this year's annual outdoor classic. Playing in front of a capacity crowd in Winnipeg and pride on the line the two teams battled hard and provided many memorable moments for their adoring fans. The Oilers wore three sets of royal blue jerseys during the game and we are proud to offer set #1 worn during the warm up and 1st period to the highest bidder all in the name of charity ! These replica weight CCM made jerseys feature pro style cresting and a commemorative alumni game patch on the right shoulder. A uniform SET #1 tag has been sewn into the inside bottom hem that reads "Edmonton Oilers, Heritage Classic Alumni Game, Oct 23, 2016 vs Winnipeg Jets", Set #1 along with the facsimile signature of Jeff Lang the team's Equipment Manager. In addition there is an NHL / MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Inventory tag #N02686 sewn into the inside bottom left hem. Tagging inside the collar includes a Made in Canada Size XXL tag and a label from the jersey cresting company Elite Sportswear. This particular jersey was worn by Oilers alumni Craig Muni and is crested with his #29 and surname on the back. As is to be expected in an alumni game of this nature the game wear is very light if even visible considering the jersey was only worn for the pre-game warm up and the 1st period of the game.
