Pittsburgh Penguins Support The One Fund Boston Efforts
The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation will host an online auction for the benefit of The One Fund Boston. Fans can bid on autographed, game-worn jerseys that feature commemorative “617” patches; these special jerseys were worn during the team’s match against the Boston Bruins on April 20. Penguins players not on the ice for that evening’s game also autographed jerseys in support of this charity auction.
The One Fund Boston was established by Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Governor of Massachusetts Deval Patrick following the tragic events of the 2013 Boston Marathon. All proceeds from this auction, every penny, will be directed to help the victims of the attack.
Auction Information
The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation’s online auction for The One Fund Boston ends at 12:00 pm EST on Monday, May 13.
Please take a moment to review your bid amount before submitting. Any errors in the bid amount or payment information are the responsibility of the bidder. PayPal and the National Hockey League consider any bid submitted to be binding. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account to bid on an auction item, but you will be prompted to enter your credit card information before you are declared the winning bidder.
Once the auction concludes and purchasers have been processed by the NHL, the items will be shipped via FedEx Ground to the winners within three (3) business days.
