A number of items were purchased that day by collectors and have remained in private hands ever since. Now they are being offered to the mass populace once again. Items include such iconic keepsakes as the 1967 Stanley Cup banner, as well as Bill Barilko’s #5 and Tim Horton’s #7 banners, all of which hung from the rafters of the Gardens. Several huge (and heavy) Stanley Cup photo collages that graced the walls of the hallways are also up for bid. Honored Member photos from the dressing room, the penalty benches, vintage team roster plaques, framed photos, and even the locker room toilet are available to the highest bidder.

This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Toronto sports history. Most items still have their original Maple Leaf Gardens Auction hang tags, and all items will come with their original MLG Auction Letters of Authenticity.

A number of other items are also included in this auction, including family friend Ed Ramer’s amazing collection of Wayne Gretzky memorabilia, as well as a huge personal collection of World Series-era Toronto Blue Jays items.
